About the Program
Our Flagship Initiative for Ekiti's Brightest Minds
The Ekiti 100 Scholar Mentorship Program is the flagship initiative of the Muyiwa Igbalajobi Foundation and it’s committed to mentoring 100 highly qualified Ekiti youths across all 16 Local Government Areas each year for global scholarship opportunities. We identify, equip, and guide some of the brightest minds from Ekiti State to access fully funded Master’s and PhD opportunities at world-class universities across the globe.
Entirely Free to Participants
The programme is 100% free for every selected scholar, with a total value of approximately $3,000 per participant, covering mentorship, guidance, and resources.

The programme runs for one full year and welcomes a brand new cohort of 100 scholars annually, ensuring consistent impact across Ekiti State.

Every scholar’s story begins at the same place — the Annual Scholarship Summit. From there, the journey unfolds in four powerful steps.

Your Path in 4 Steps
01. Attend the Annual Scholarship Summit
Register and attend the Ekiti 100 Annual Scholarship Summit held every January. This is the official starting point, a full-day event featuring workshops, speaker sessions, and direct engagement with mentors and sponsors.
02. Submit Your Application
Following the Summit, shortlisted attendees are invited to complete a full application sharing their academic background, personal story, financial situation, and aspirations for the future.
03. Selection & Announcement
Our panel reviews every application holistically assessing academic merit, leadership potential, financial need, and commitment to Ekiti's development. Selected scholars are announced and celebrated.
04. Join the Scholar Community
Selected scholars receive funding, mentorship, and a lifelong place in the Ekiti 100 community a growing network of achievers, diaspora professionals, and change-makers committed to Ekiti's future.
Eligibility
Who Can Apply?
Ekiti State Origin
Must be indigene of or resident in Ekiti State, Nigeria.
Academic Excellence
Demonstrated strong academic performance at any level of education.
Financial Need
Inability to afford programme fees or access educational opportunities without support.
Drive & Leadership
Evidence of ambition, community involvement, or leadership potential.
Commitment to Ekiti
Willingness to contribute to Ekiti's development and remain connected to the community.
